Perfectly located in the heart of Whitby, just across from the famous Swing Bridge, The Golden Lion is a good, old fashioned drinking pub with a warm, welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The only Irish pub in Whitby. Traditional Irish folk music plays in the background, while there is also live music on selected nights throughout the year. There is a wide selection of beers, but of course we serve the best Guinness in Whitby!
